What Can I Expect?

At City Church Del Rio, our purpose is to Love God, Love People, and Serve the World. 
  • Come join us at 9:30 for coffee and fellowship prior to our worship gathering. 
  • At 10 am, our Worship Service begins. Our services are directed with Scripture-guided music, passages of Scripture read aloud, and an expository sermon founded in Scripture. 
  • Each Sunday children participate in worship with their family until the sermon. At that time, Sunday School is offered for any child up to 5th grade. Children are also welcome to participate during the sermon time.
  • On the first Sunday of each month, children (Pre-K and up) stay for the entirety of the service for what we call Family First Sundays.
  • Every second Sunday of the month we include a missions emphasis of how our church is involved in missions (locally, nationally, or internationally). We also have a fellowship meal after the service. Bringing an item to contribute is encouraged, but not required. 
  • Every third Sunday of the month we encourage everyone to wear a provided name tag for the purpose of encouraging Christian fellowship. 
  • Every fourth Sunday of the month we celebrate the Lord's Supper (communion) as a church.
